The 2026 Pensacola Interstate Fair fills the grounds at 6655 W. Mobile Highway, on the west side of Pensacola, from Thursday, October 22, to Sunday, November 1. Adults pay $12 at the gate Monday through Thursday and $14 Friday through Sunday, kids 4 to 11 pay $6, and every concert on the Pepsi Open-Air Stage is free once you’re inside. Splash RV Resort guests have an easy 28-mile drive, roughly 35 to 40 minutes on I-10.

The fair has deep roots on the Florida Panhandle. It started in 1935, moved to its current Mobile Highway grounds in 1969, and now sits on more than 170 acres, according to the fair’s own history page. Last year’s fair celebrated its 90th anniversary and drew roughly 200,000 visitors, as Carnival Warehouse reported, and fair president Andy Peterson talks about “building on the Fair’s 91-year legacy” as the 2026 edition gets ready.
When is the Pensacola Interstate Fair in 2026?
The 2026 Pensacola Interstate Fair opens Thursday, October 22, and closes Sunday, November 1. That’s 11 straight days, two full weekends included. The official fair information page and Visit Pensacola both list the same dates.
Weeknights open at 4 p.m. (Senior Appreciation Day on Oct. 29 opens early, at 2 p.m.), while Saturdays and Sundays open at 11 a.m. Fridays are the late nights, running until 1 a.m. One thing to know before closing day: daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1, so it’ll get dark an hour earlier that evening.
What are the Pensacola Interstate Fair hours and daily deals?
Every day of the 2026 fair has its own gate hours and a deal of the day, posted on the fair’s daily schedule pages. Thursday, Oct. 22 is the bargain night, with $1 admission for ages 4 and up and $1 rides. The table below lays out all 11 days, plus the free concert each night.
Sources: the fair’s daily schedule pages and its entertainment lineup, which states that “All shows are FREE with admission into the Fair.”
How much are Pensacola Interstate Fair tickets?
Pensacola Interstate Fair tickets cost $12 for adults Monday through Thursday and $14 Friday through Sunday at the gate in 2026, with kids 4 to 11 at $6 and little ones 3 and under free. The fair lowered its weekday adult price from $14 to $12 this year, as WEAR-TV reported in September.
Planning ahead pays off. The online ticket store sells Super Saver deals through October 21, 2026, and each ticket is good for one use:
- Super Saver admission: $7 for adults 12 and up, $3 for kids 4 to 11.
- Unlimited ride wristbands: $27 for a weekday band or $32 for an any-day band in advance. At the fair, wristbands generally run $32 Monday through Thursday and $37 Friday through Sunday, with a $27 special on Monday, Oct. 26 and a $32 price on closing day.
- Parking: $5 in advance, valid any day of the fair, instead of $10 at the lot.
One catch: the ride wristband doesn’t include grounds admission, so budget for both. And if your crew is all about the rides, the two Midnight Madness Fridays are hard to beat, trust us.
Where are the Pensacola Interstate Fairgrounds, and how does parking work?
The Pensacola Interstate Fairgrounds sit at 6655 W. Mobile Highway, Pensacola, FL 32526, on the west side of town. Coming from Splash RV Resort, head west on I-10 to the Pine Forest Road exit, and from there it’s a short hop over to Mobile Highway.
Parking is in the fair’s own lot. You’ll pay $10 when you leave, or skip that line with a $5 Super Saver parking ticket bought online by Oct. 21.
What can you bring into the fair?
The Pensacola Interstate Fair runs a clear bag policy, and it’s strict about it. At the Pensacola Interstate Fair, small clutch bags no larger than 4.5 by 6.5 inches are allowed inside the clear bags, while diaper bags and medically necessary bags get searched and tagged at the gate.
The Pensacola Interstate Fair’s policies page also rules out outside food and drinks, pets (ADA service animals are the exception) and weapons, even for concealed weapon permit holders. The Pensacola Interstate Fair doesn’t give refunds on admission, ride credits or wristbands because of bad weather, either. Leave the big backpack in the car and the bag check goes a lot faster.
Besides the rides, what’s worth seeing at the fair?
Loads, and the concerts come free with your gate ticket! Visit Pensacola’s event listing promises “more than 60 rides, performances by top-name entertainers” and “an abundance of delectable food options.” The fair’s daily schedules note that ride handstamps are good on all Reithoffer Midway Rides, and the free Pepsi Open-Air Stage concerts happen every night but closing day.
The farm side of the fair is where younger kids light up. At the Big Red Barn, they can make butter, practice milking a cow (a pretend one) and gather potatoes and carrots from a potato patch. Over at the Livestock Arena, the Cow Costume and Prettiest Cow Contest starts at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25, and the 4-H and FFA Livestock Auction is at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28.

By the time the last ride shuts down, most families are ready for a quiet spot to crash.
Where’s the best place to stay near the Pensacola Interstate Fair?
For a fair weekend with room to breathe, Splash RV Resort is a strong pick. It’s just off I-10 in Milton, roughly 35 to 40 minutes from the fairgrounds and about 27 minutes from Pensacola, and it gives you somewhere fun to be before the gates open at 4 p.m. on weeknights.
What makes the best home base for a fair trip? Easy interstate access, space to spread out, and something to do in the hours you aren’t on the midway. Here’s how the stays compare at Splash:
RV sites check in at 2 p.m., while cottages and wagons check in at 4 p.m., and checkout for all of them is 11 a.m. Pets can stay in RVs and in select cottages for a $200 fee. Quiet hours run from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. outside of the resort’s special events, so a late Friday on the midway still ends with a calm night.

Can you pair the fair with Spooktober at Splash?
You can, and the dates practically overlap! Splash RV Resort has four Spooktober weekends this fall, and the last two, Oct. 23 to 25 and Oct. 30 to 31, land right in the middle of the fair’s run (the first two are Oct. 9 to 12 and Oct. 16 to 18). The resort’s events page lists costume contests, hayrides, trick-or-treating, live music and site decorating for each one.
That adds up to one fun Halloween weekend near Pensacola: fair rides and a concert one night, trick-or-treating and a hayride back at the resort the next. On the in-between mornings, the pools and lazy river open at 8 a.m. through Nov. 1, then shift to 10 a.m. starting Nov. 2. The hot tub is in season too, since it opens a week after Labor Day.

Late October weather usually cooperates. Pensacola’s October normals sit at 81.1°F for the average high and 61.6°F for the average low, according to the Florida Climate Center’s 1991 to 2020 data. Pack a light jacket for the late nights.
