Fall 2026 update: Pensacola Beach’s two designated dog beaches are open 7 a.m. to sunset through October 31, then switch to sunrise-to-sunset hours on November 1, according to Escambia County’s beach dog park page. At Splash RV Resort, we have select pet-friendly luxury cottages near Pensacola just for you, with a $200 pet fee. Pets aren’t permitted in the non-pet cottages, so mention your pup when you book. Is Splash a pet-friendly RV resort with a dog park?

Yes. Splash RV Resort near Pensacola and Navarre Beach has designated dog parks and a dog washing station, so your pup can burn off energy and rinse off sand after a beach day. Pets must be leashed at all times, current on vaccinations, and kept out of buildings and the pool areas.

Dog-Friendly Beaches Nearby

Pensacola Beach, about 40 minutes from the resort, has two designated dog beaches: the west one at Lot B (beach walkover 21E), the first lot past the last Gulf-side condos, and the east one at Lot E (walkover 28B), the first lot past Portofino Island Resort. Dogs must stay leashed with a current rabies tag visible, and every other beach and park on the island is off limits to pets, per Visit Pensacola Beach. Heading to Gulf Islands National Seashore instead? The National Park Service keeps pets off all park beaches but welcomes leashed dogs (six feet max) on trails, multi-use paths, and park roads.
