If you want cabins in Milton, FL that keep the Emerald Coast within easy reach but leave you off the crowded beachfront, our full-kitchen cottages sleep up to six and sit right beside the resort’s pools, lazy river, and mini golf. You get the beach-trip payoff without paying beach-town prices.
What cabins does Splash RV Resort offer?
We rent 34 luxury cottages plus a set of Conestoga-style glamping wagons on our Milton grounds off Welcome Church Road. Every cottage has a full kitchen, a full bathroom with a shower, DirecTV, a sofa sleeper, and linens, towels, and coffee already stocked so you can walk in and unpack. Streaming WiFi is included. These aren’t bare-bones florida cabins in the woods, they’re finished units with everything a family needs for a week on the Panhandle.
The cottages come in two layouts. The 4-guest cottage has a queen bed plus two twin beds up in the loft. The 6-guest cottage adds a twin bunk, so a bigger family or a couple of kids’ friends can all fit. Prefer something different? Our covered glamping wagons give you that unique canvas-topped stay while still keeping you steps from every amenity. You can see photos and current layouts on the cabins and cottages page.

Cabin, glamping wagon, or RV site: what fits your trip?
The quick answer: pick a cottage if you want a real kitchen and beds for the whole family, a glamping wagon if you want something memorable and fun, and a full-hookup RV site if you’re bringing your own rig. Here’s how the main stay types compare.
Whichever you choose, you’re on the same grounds with the heated pools, the lazy river, the splash pad, 18-hole mini golf, pickleball, and the dog parks. Nobody in your group has to miss out just because you booked a cabin instead of towing a trailer.

The payoff for staying near Navarre and Pensacola is the water itself. The Panhandle’s beaches are built from bright white quartz sand, and the shallow water over that sand refracts light into the famous emerald-green color. It’s genuinely some of the best coastline in the country: Pensacola Beach and Navarre Beach ranked number one and number two best beaches in the U.S. in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards. Basing your beach days out of a Milton cabin means you’re a short hop from all of it. So if you’re searching for cabin rentals near Fort Walton Beach or cabins near Destin, a Milton basecamp still puts those within a comfortable day trip too.
What’s there to do near Milton?
Loads of options, and most cost a lot less than a beach day. Downtown Milton has a free riverwalk, the West Florida Railroad Museum (open Friday and Saturday, free with donations welcome), and the Arcadia Mill Archaeological Site at 5709 Mill Pond Lane, open Friday and Saturday from 10 to 4 with admission of $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, and $3 for children. Milton is also known for gentle sand-bottom creeks that are perfect for tubing on a hot afternoon.
Back at the resort, rainy-day and downtime options are covered: the arcade, an amphitheater with events, golf cart rentals, a camp store, and a food court. Why book a Milton cabin with no surprise resort fees?
Because the price you see is close to the price you pay. We don’t tack on a hidden resort fee, and the sites are spacious and well spaced out, so you’re not parked on top of your neighbor. The grounds stay clean and quiet, which is exactly what families with young kids and snowbirds settling in for a while tend to want. Reliable, fast WiFi is included, and there’s real shade and a natural setting rather than a gravel lot.
Glamping and cabin stays keep growing for a reason. Glamping made up 29% of all camping experiences in 2025, according to KOA’s 2026 North American Camping Report, and it’s often the on-ramp that gets first-timers hooked on the outdoors. A finished cottage with a full kitchen is an easy yes for folks who love the location but aren’t ready to sleep in a tent. Bringing the dog? Several cottages are pet-friendly, with a $200 pet fee and a limit of three pets per unit.
