Looking for a full hookup RV park near Pensacola? At Splash RV Resort you get water, sewer and 50-amp power at more than 280 RV sites, with every road and pad poured in concrete and pull-thrus that stretch up to 111 feet. We’re tucked just off I-10, roughly 27 minutes to downtown Pensacola (23 miles) and 25 minutes to Navarre Beach (25 miles).
We wrote this for RVers sizing up parks this fall and winter. One night off the interstate or a whole snowbird season, the questions tend to be the same: what does “full hookup” really cover, will my rig fit, which power does it need, and what does a month cost? We’ll walk through each one.
The short version:
- Water, sewer and 50-amp electric at 280+ RV sites
- Concrete roads and pads everywhere, plus pull-thrus as long as 111 feet
- Free resort WiFi called “SplashRV,” and you won’t need a password
- Monthly winter pricing from $1,299 (the November to February rate)
- A short drive to the Gulf: Navarre Beach in roughly 25 minutes, downtown Pensacola in 27
What is a full hookup at an RV park?
A full hookup site gives your RV three utility connections right where you park: electricity, fresh water and a sewer drain. Go RVing describes these as “full-service options with electricity, water, and sewer hookups for each RV.” With all three in place, you never have to break camp to visit a dump station, which is a big deal on a stay longer than a weekend.
Not every campground works that way. According to the Escapees RV Club, partial hookups usually mean electricity and fresh water with no sewer, and “Partial hookups are very common in national and state park campgrounds.” The club says a full hookup site lets you “use your RV like a residential home without worrying about overfilling your tanks or draining your batteries down.”
Plenty of people are hitting the road this way. The Dyrt’s 2026 Camping Report found that “More than half of campers (52.2%) took at least one adventure in an RV or trailer in 2025.”
What comes with a full hook-up site at Splash RV Resort?
Each RV site pairs a concrete pad with full hook-ups and 50-amp service, and the full hookup RV sites at Splash RV Resort number more than 280. Big rigs can grab a pull-thru as long as 111 feet. WiFi comes free with RV sites and it’s quick enough for streaming. Booking a few nights? You can pick the exact site you want right in the online booking system.
Here’s what else to know before you roll in:
- Arrival and departure: RV arrivals start at 2 p.m., and you’ll want to be rolling out by 11 a.m. on departure day.
- Guests: your site includes 4 wristbands. Extra guests cost $20 each per day, up to a total of 8 people on one site.
- Parking: each reservation includes two parking passes, and both vehicles need to fit on your concrete pad. Boats, trailers and extra vehicles go to overflow parking.
- Pets: up to 3 pets can come along in your RV. Keep them on a leash whenever they’re outside.
- Supplies: the camp store stocks RV supplies, and there’s food delivery straight to your camp site.
- Campfires: personal fire pits are welcome as long as they’re elevated and contained.
One thing first-timers don’t expect: RV sites have irrigation throughout, so put away anything that can’t get wet (TVs, electronics) before you turn in for the night. And if your rig is older than 15 years, the office asks for photos so they can approve it.
Driving a long rig? Florida Statutes section 316.515 says “No motor home may exceed a length of 45 feet exclusive of bumpers and safety devices,” and it caps a noncommercial two-unit combination at 65 feet. A 111-foot pull-thru leaves you plenty of room to spare, toad included.
Do you need 30 amp or 50 amp service?
Look at the plug on your power cord. Camping World explains that “30 amp service supplies up to 3,600 watts, versus 50 amp service providing up to 12,000 watts,” and a 50-amp plug carries two 120-volt hot wires where a 30-amp plug has one. Sites at Splash RV Resort have 50-amp service, so larger rigs get the power they were built to use.
Running a 30-amp trailer? Pack a 50-to-30 amp adapter, often called a dogbone. Camping World notes that adapters let you plug a 30 amp RV into a 50 amp pedestal, though a 30-amp RV still won’t draw more than the 3,600 watts it’s designed for. Whatever your amperage, Camping World says you’ll need a surge protector “designed for that level of service” to protect your electrical system and appliances.
What should you pack for a full hookup site?
Bring a drinking-water hose, a pressure regulator, a filter, a surge protector and a good sewer kit, and you’re set. A forgotten adapter can stall a whole setup, so run down this list before you leave home. If something gets left behind, the camp store at Splash RV Resort carries RV supplies.
- A fresh-water hose rated for drinking water (not a garden hose)
- A water pressure regulator. Winnebago says, “We recommend regulators that control water pressure to 50 psi.”
- An inline water filter
- A surge protector or EMS sized to your rig’s amperage
- A 50-to-30 amp adapter if you have a 30-amp rig
- A sewer hose with a sealed bayonet fitting, plus a hose support
- Disposable gloves
- Leveling blocks and wheel chocks
How do you hook up at a full hookup site?
Level and chock the rig first, then connect fresh water, then power, and save the sewer hose for last. That’s the order Winnebago’s campsite setup checklist follows, starting with fresh water so you never handle it with “dirty sewer hands or gloves.”
- Pull in, check that your slides have room, then level the rig and chock the wheels.
- Connect your drinking-water hose through the pressure regulator and filter.
- Turn the breakers off at the power post, plug in through your surge protector, then switch the breakers back on. Winnebago says to “be sure to turn the breakers off at the post” before you plug in.
- Put on gloves and connect the sewer hose, using a support so it slopes down to the sewer connection.
- Keep the tank valves closed and dump only as needed: black tank first, then gray to rinse the hose.
Leaving? Grand Design RV’s setup and teardown checklist sums it up: “When you teardown, you go in reverse order.”
What are monthly rates for a full hookup RV site near Pensacola?
From November through February, a month on a standard back-in site at Splash RV Resort costs $1,299. Those same months, a premium back-in is $1,399 and a Class-A pull-in is $1,499, while the August through October season runs $1,399, $1,499 and $1,599. Our team handles monthly RV bookings by phone or request form, because the online system doesn’t take monthly stays.
To lock in a month, send a request through our monthly snowbird RV rates page or call (850) 600-8500, and the team will reply with your rate and availability. The Good Sam discount (10%) doesn’t apply to monthly or weekly rates. For shorter winter trips, the current Splash RV Resort specials include a Thanksgiving deal for November 22 to 29: book 5 nights and get 1 free, or book 7 nights and get 2 free, with codes Thanksgiving5 and Thanksgiving7.
Is a full hookup RV park near Pensacola good in winter?
It’s our favorite season for long stays! At Pensacola’s airport, NOAA’s climate normals put the average January high at 62.7°F and the average January low at 43.7°F. Inland Milton runs a little cooler, and NOAA’s January normal low at NAS Whiting Field is 38.8°F.
That means mild days and the occasional cold snap, so keep your water line in mind. On a night that’s forecast to freeze, a heated drinking-water hose or an unhooked, drained hose can spare you a cracked fitting in the morning. Trust us, you’ll be glad you thought about it.
The fun doesn’t hibernate here, either. Every pool at Splash RV Resort is heated except one: the lazy river stays unheated, but it’s open all year. Winter hours for the pools and lazy river run 10 a.m. to dusk, and there’s a seasonal hot tub, laundry facilities and a fitness center, plus the rest of our resort amenities for when you want a break from the rig.

How close are Pensacola and Navarre Beach to our RV sites?

That puts the beaches, the airport and downtown within an easy day trip, and you come back to a site with everything already hooked up.
